Celebration Weekend 2012: Fresh From the West is Sunset's annual event where they open their seven-acre campus in Menlo Park and share cooking, gardening, travel and home improvement tips with the community.

Join Sunset editors, Guy Fieri, featured host of Food Network’s top-rated show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and experts from the worlds of food, wine, garden, home and design as they share tips, tastings, demonstrations and inspirations that bring the experience to life.  Over 20,000 people are expected to attend.

Children’s Health Council provides over 200 volunteers for this event and in exchange for our help receives a generous donation from Sunset. Volunteers are needed to greet guests with a smile, diligently work in the gardens and culinary exhibits and happily pour beer & wine in the beverage gardens.  All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and free admission to the event on the day they volunteer – so you can enjoy the celebration as well.  It’s truly a chance to not only serve and have some fun, but to be part of a community event that will truly benefit the great work being done at Children's Health Council. 

Each volunteer should register individually and cannot register another person. Please choose from one of these six volunteer options:

    All Day Saturday  /  Saturday Shift 1: 9:30AM - 1:30PM  /  Saturday Shift 2: 1:00PM - 5:00PM
    All Day Sunday    /   Sunday Shift 1: 9:30AM - 1:30PM   /   Sunday Shift 2: 1:00PM - 5:00PM
